How To Hack WhatsApp Using SS7 Flaw?

The vulnerability lies in Signalling System 7, or SS7, the technology used by telecom operators, on which the highly secure messaging system and telephone calls rely. SS7 is a set of telephony signalling protocols developed in 1975, which is used to set up and tear down most of the world’s public switched telephone network (PSTN) telephone calls. It also performs number translation, local number portability, prepaid billing, Short Message Service (SMS), and other mass market services.

SS7 is vulnerable to hacking and this has been known since 2008. In 2014, the media reported a protocol vulnerability of SS7 by which both government agencies and non-state actors can track the movements of cell phone users from virtually anywhere in the world with a success rate of approximately 70%. In addition, eavesdropping is possible by using the protocol to forward calls and also facilitate decryption by requesting that each caller’s carrier release a temporary encryption key to unlock the communication after it has been recorded. Researchers created a tool (SnoopSnitch) which can warn when certain SS7 attacks occur against a phone and detect IMSI-catchers.

Both the hacks exploit the SS7 vulnerability by tricking the telecom network into believing the attacker’s phone has the same number as the victim’s phone. Once the network has been fooled, anybody, even a newbie can spy on the legitimate WhatsApp and Telegram user by creating a new WhatsApp or Telegram account using the secret code.

Once complete, the attacker now controls the account, including the ability to send and receive messages. Even more horrific is the fact that the hacker can also send messages on behalf of the victim, and read confidential messages intended for the victim without ever having to try to break strong encryption protocols.

But Tux-mind kept working on dSploit, always trying to improve it. Many functions were slow and error-prone, Tux-mind changed the way them work, added new features and corrected many bugs.

Finally, in summer 2014 Tux-mind suggested a new way to make dSploit work, the new core. basically Tux-mind wish to move all the slow and inefficent code out of Java. Evilsocket agreed with Tux-mind’s suggestion and told Tux-mind to start working on it. Evilsocket is very busy with work because he started working for zImpremium.

On autumn 2014 evilsocket received the order to merge dSploit into zANTI2. this decision killed the project. Tux-mind asked if he could bring it on, but evilsocket told that the domain dsploit.net belongs to him and dsploit will officially merge into zANTI2. So Tux-mind forked the project and finished his work on the new core.

This was when cSploit was born.

• This Application will allow you to run an advanced Setup from the Engineering Mode Menu of MTK phones, which is also called SERVICE MODE

Note This : Use this secret menu very carefully. In case if you don’t know on what you are doing then just stop it or don’t do it!!

1. Open the installed app, or dail your mobile device specific code for Engineering Mode
2. Click on the MTK Settings and Select Preferred Network Option.
3. Now you can Select 4G LTE/WCDMA/GSM as network mode and you can save it and turn it off and on your mobile device
4. Once you done the above steps, Shutdown the device

2. Install the app & Open It.
3. Click on Menu (vertical Three Dots on top right side)
4. Now Go To Menu then Search for “Service Menu” Or ” Engineering Mode “
5. Then Select “System App” Option For Deep Search. If Found then open it and access to change LTE Bands If that doesn’t work,
6. Once You Got the Engineering Mode , Open It and Select Change LTE Bands.
7. If the above Doesn’t Work Then Dial *#2263# then Select Menu And Click Back Again Then Select Menu.
8. Then Go To Key Input And Enter “0000” without quotes, Then Wait For Couple Of Seconds ,after that You Will Get Popup.
9. Select UE Settings From that Popup, after that Select setting>protocol>NAS>Network Control>Band Selection>LTE Band> The Select “Band 40”.
10. Hola Done Now. Now you can Insert Jio Sim & Check Whether You Are Getting Signals Or Not.
11. Restart the Device and Place it in First Sim Slot

• First visit the Dial-pad, and type this number *#*#4636#*#*
• Then you will see one page with Testing, click on Phone Information

• Scroll down till you find the Set Preferred Network Type drop down menu & click on that

• Select the LTE/GSM auto (PRL) option and close it

• Switch off your mobile put Jio Sim in slot 1 and keep the second slot empty.
• Switch on now then you will see Jio 4G signal in your mobile..
