How To Dual Boot KALI LINUX and WINDOWS?

Kali linux is a amazing OS basically built for the hacking and penetration testing purposes. There are many ways to get this OS on your machine, here is the one DUAL BOOT KALI LINUX AND WINDOWS. Dual booting is quite a convenient way as it doesn't disturbs the existing operating system. You can easily dual boot kali linux 2.0 or kali linux 1.0 with windows.

Kali Linux 2 System Requirements :

-A minimum of 10 GB disk space for the Kali Linux install.
-For i386 and amd64 architectures, a minimum of 512MB RAM.
-CD-DVD Drive / USB boot support

DOWNLOAD THIS FIRST :

Kali Linux ISO : https://www.kali.org/downloads/

Win32 Disk Imager : http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32

EASY BCD : http://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/

DUAL BOOT KALI LINUX AND WINDOWS STEPS :

1. Download Kali Linux iso file from kali.org

2. Burn The Kali Linux ISO to DVD or copy Kali Linux Live to USB using Win32disklmager.

3. Open command prompt and type diskmgmt and divide atleast 40 GB partition for kali linux

4. Restart the computer and tap f12 repeatedely when the your machine logo appears.

5. Select free space from the Partition Disks window.
        
6. Disk Partition should be as follows :

                 # 2 GB - /boot
                 # 15 GB - /
                 #. 20 GB - /home
                 #. 2 GB - Swap area

7. Select NO for network mirror as well as for the GRUB BOOT LOADER too.

8. Device for boot loader installation  - /dev/sda5

9. Eject Pen Drive. When completion message appears .

10. Open EasyBsd and add kali linux as a new boot entry.

11. Done.... Your Dual Boot Is Ready... Enjoy !!! :)
